OUR HISTORY
In 2000, Nommo began as a booking agency for black filmmakers under the name Blackfilmmakers.net. Its purpose was to serve Black independent filmmakers whose impactful work was outside the mainstream and rarely seen by mass audiences. Now, Nommo has expanded its black speakers offering and client base to better serve the communities and institutions wanting to learn and be inspired by these unsung change makers.
Nommo Speaker’s keep the conversation going… inspiring action!
Most importantly, our team is excited to be stereotype busters and to share Nommo’s treasure trove of speakers with a wider audience. Nommo brings a wealth of knowledge, insight and passion to generating opportunities for clients and speakers. This boutique agency is focused on expanding and diversifying the marketplace.
